David and Toby treat you like you are their best friends coming to visit, awesome hospitality and really put love into the lovely property, room amenities, and that breakfast spread daily! We truly felt taken care of after the hustle and bustle of our 2 previous stops. Highlights include the best bed ever, view of Montepulciano, modern and beautiful suite equipped with all you need, awesome local recommendations for amazing restaurants and the most beautiful and STUNNING driving route of the area, and top notch gourmet breakfast - all courtesy of David and Toby. By far best accommodation experience I’ve ever had. Won’t hesitate to return and will be telling everyone I know to experience this. Even the local gelato owner said yeah it’s an experience there - they are loved by locals and visitors alike. Lees minder

Lees meerThis B&B was wonderful from the moment we arrived and greeted by the owner with umbrellas (it was rain very hard.) Through out our week stay we felt welcomed, comfortable and even special. This Bed & Breakfast is outstanding with lovely room/suites, comfortable linens and beds to the bountiful and delicious breakfast. Tobby and David know how travelers like to be treated and it showed. We were a group of six and all of us highly recommend Fonte Martino Guest House and Estate if you are in the Tuscany/ Montepulciano region. Lees minder

A Dream Come True! We had the most amazing stay at Fonte Martino! I had been dreaming about this ever since... Lees meerWe had the most amazing stay at Fonte Martino! I had been dreaming about this ever since their Househunter’s International episode a number of years ago. The property they chose to renovate looked amazing on television and I wanted to experience it in person. When we started to plan a three week return trip to Italy with another couple, I knew we had to spend time at Fonte Martino. We arrived on October 12th for five days and from the minute we drove through the gates, it did not disappoint. Both Toby and David met us as we drove up to the house. We chatted for a few minutes and then they escorted us to our suites. We had the Siena and Cortona Suites, which are side-by-side, with direct views of Montepulciano. Each of them escorted one couple into our beautiful suites and gave us an overview of the room and what to expect from our stay. They even had soft jazz playing in the background as we walked in. We discussed choices for dinner and they offered to contact a restaurant in the village to make our reservations. Next, we were provided a choice of welcome drinks and they hurried off to bring them back along with a light snack. From there, they left us to relax on our patios, enjoy the view and toast to our good fortune. The suites are gorgeous. They had been renovated from top to bottom when Toby and David purchased the property. And although they express the Tuscan flavor, they are completely stylish and modern, with every detail considered. I must say, the breakfasts are spectacular! We had so many choices of buffet items and yummy homemade pastries, it was hard to decide. And then they brought us individual quiches that were to die for. This all topped off with multiple cappuccinos and more beautiful views. We enjoyed several local wineries, a day trip to Siena and a cooking class at a farmhouse. We had lovely walks and dinners in the town of Montepulciano. We were sad to leave when the time came, but we hope to return someday. Thank you, Toby and David!!! Ciao, until next time! Lees minder

Lees meerWe had read the great reviews before our stay in September so we knew we would love our accommodation in Montepulciano but I must say it was even better than expected for many reasons we love a boutique style service and we found it at Fonte Martino. The personalized welcome , greeting us as we drove up to the guest house, the stylish and impeccable suite with an incredible view of Montepulciano, the lovely landscaping with fruit trees galore, the gourmet breakfast with so many homemade yummies the set up is more than a 5 star accommodation!!! your guesthouse is a dream place with top notch service and high class finish but still a very homey/family style feeling . Exactly what we love. David and Toby were the perfect hosts and a true pleasure to chat with at breakfast. Incredible to see pictures of the place when they bought it and see what a gem it became. We will definitely stay at Fonte Martino the next time we plan a stay in Montepulciano. Anne and Philippe Lees minder
