We are humbled and in a bit of disbelief to announce that we have achieved the ranking of #1 Bed and Breakfast in Montepulciano, Tuscany, according to TripAdvisor.
We started this journey over 10 years ago with a dream of opening a bed and breakfast in Italy. After many years of searching for the perfect location, we discovered Fonte Martino in 2016. A multi-year renovation soon began and in the summer of 2019, we were very excited to officially open for business.
Who would have thought that a few months later, the world would be engulfed in a pandemic and the travel industry shut down… We often jokingly say that our timing could not have been better! However, we kept moving forward and when we were able to welcome guests again, we continued to do our best to provide everyone with the finest experience possible.
Although Fonte Martino is our home, it is also a vacation destination in Tuscany for our guests. We are delighted that of all the places they could have chosen for their holiday, they chose to visit our beautiful piece of Tuscany… We have met many amazing people from all over the world and continue to look forward to welcoming both new and returning guests to Fonte Martino.
In addition to ranking as the #1 Bed and Breakfast in Montepulciano, we previously received the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award naming us as one of the Top 10% Accommodations worldwide, TravelMyth’s Award as one of the Top 10 Luxury Accommodations in Montepulciano, and most recently, Travel & Hospitality Awards named Fonte Martino the Best Guest House in Tuscany.
Although we are very proud of the work we have done to create Fonte Martino, we owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to everyone who helps make our guests experiences extra special:
